Last fall, Chandler reached out asking me to photograph his proposal to Lauren. They were planning a Des Moines staycation at the AC hotel for their dating anniversary. He invited their close family and friends to hide away on the patio at The Republic and after leading Lauren to the preplanned spot, he proposed and they got to celebrate and surprise Lauren after she said ‘yes’!
We snuck up to the hotel rooftop for a few celebratory sunset photos, and it was the perfect little breather to let this sweet couple have a moment, just the two of them.
