Paige & Grant | Romantic Backyard Wedding – Des Moines Wedding and Family Photography

Shortly after Grant proposed, Paige knew she wanted to get married in her parents’ backyard, and it was an absolute dream to photograph! Though heavy rains a few days before made the ground a little soft, the day of was stunning. It was one of those first fall days full of warm light and clear skies.

I overheard someone say that the entire day looked like a styled shoot and I 100% agree! Except for one thing. Paige and Grant’s wedding day had something that styled shoots often lack, pure emotion. These two were beaming with happiness. From the smiles and laughter of the girls getting ready that morning to the sweat tears Paige shed as she and Grant said their vows to the lovely words Grant said as he toasted his new wife – there’s no doubt these two are a wonderful match!
