Katie & Cody | Des Moines Maternity Photograher

Katie contacted me a few weeks ago to see if we could plan maternity photos as she and Cody made their way from Ohio to Cody’s hometown of Spencer, IA. They were traveling back over Memorial Day Weekend to celebrate their baby with friends and family! Not only did they time their drive perfectly, but what was one of the rainiest weeks this spring – the rain halted and the skies cleared up right as they arrived at the carousel. Katie and Cody were married last year and had their first look at the Heritage Carousel in Des Moines – and wanted to document this next chapter of their lives in the same location. I absolutely loved getting to take part in a new tradition for their family!
