2015 Wedding Favorites

I absolutely love and hate my yearly “wedding favorites” post. I hate having to pair down my favorites as there are only so many that I can post before the blog crashes. But I LOVE revisiting all of the weddings I had the privilege of documenting throughout the year. I love getting to relive the hugs, the big belly laughs, the nervous smiles, the gorgeous details and florals, and the raw emotions that keep me loving this job year after year.

This is my fourth year photographing weddings and I have come to love looking through past year’s recaps (2013 and 2014). I have loved seeing how much I’ve grown in my style but also how much more confident I’ve become.

Words cannot express how very thankful I am to each and everyone of my clients and friends. When I first started on this journey of becoming a photographer, I thought I would be just that. A photographer. I never realized that I would be a business owner, a friend, a coordinator, nor a professional third wheel to couples 😉 . But the best thing that has come along with this job is being able to play a small part in important stages of families’  lives. Whether it be photographing a wedding day or capturing a growing family, I don’t think I can put into words how honored I feel that friends, family, and complete strangers trust me with documenting their lives. And it is something that will never cease to amaze me. So, thank you.
