Baby James | Iowa Newborn Photgrapher

This shoot was a first for me. Not my first time photographing a newborn, but the first time photographing a newborn of one of my past wedding couples! Holy cow is it amazing to have the honor of photographing the beginning of a marriage and family and an even bigger honor to photograph that couple’s first child!

Heather and Doug are the cutest parents. They were so welcoming as I came into their home to photograph the newest addition to their family! James arrived two weeks early and ended up being a Christmas present for his parents as he arrived on Christmas Eve. He is so loved, you can just see it in Heather and Doug’s faces and Lucy (their dog) cannot be more interested in baby James.
