Introducing Bash

Meet Bash. It was week ago yesterday that I brought this sweet pup home with me! I knew it wouldn’t be long after moving into my house that I would want to get a dog. I mean, after photographing so many dogs during engagement sessions – how could I not have my own dog to come home to?

He was first found, caught in a trap in North Carolina and was put up for adoption in a shelter there. On the day he was scheduled to be euthanized (due to overcrowding) a shelter in Nebraska saved him. I found him on petfinder.com and decided to fill out the application to adopt him! And last tuesday I drove (with my sister Kristen) to Lincoln, Nebraska to meet formerly Luke – now Bash.

Because he has been shuffled around quite a bit, I don’t have a ton of information about him. I do know that he is around 1 year old, he loves people, wants to play with every dog he meets, and LOVES to be outside – even if it’s just sitting on the porch.

His ears are normally like this –

But look like this when his head tilts back or there’s a strong wind 🙂
