Mashayla & Eric | An Embassy Club West Wedding
I didn’t meet Mashayla and Eric until later this year, but I’m so happy I did. Their wedding day was so great and joy filled. These two met in high school and have been together for 6 years! We started the day at the Marriott West Des Moines, where they actually first started hanging out at a state basketball tournament years ago. They both got ready at the hotel, so I was easily able to go back and forth to capture them getting ready. I loved all of the natural light streaming through the windows as I photographed both of their details!
Their ceremony took place at the Embassy Club West (which holds a special place in my heart (my dad married my stepmom Julie there just a few years ago!) and I loved how open and bright everything was! These two wanted to wait to see one another until the ceremony so we planned plenty of time after the ceremony to capture photos. I loved being able to use the Embassy Club’s garden!
