Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! As I sit here posting my last session from 2013 I can’t help but look back at how crazy of a year it was. This year has been so wonderful and full of surprises and change. I have been so blessed with the growth my business has seen and I could not be more thankful. I am so excited for what 2014 has in store! I definitely want to blog more on that later this week so stay tuned!
In the meantime I couldn’t wait to share my favorites from Phoebe and Dave’s engagement session. This was my last session from 2013. It was mighty chilly and super overcast but we were able to work fast and get some great images. Though I was secretly hoping for snow (and have been hoping for a brave couple wanting a winter engagement session) – the weather did not coorperate so we made do with the evergreen trees and they are actually some of my favorites from all year. Phoebe and Dave were so great – despite it being only 12 degrees that day (with the windchill making it feel so much colder) they warmed up to the camera so quickly and we were finished in 30 minutes! All the while they were whispering sweet things to each other. Just being around these two, for such a short amount of time, you can see how excited they are to get married!
This first image was one of the very first ones that I took of the session.
And I have to finish with a funny one. This is what Phoebe wished she could have done the entire session to keep warm.
